ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Senator Martin Heinrich’s campaign today released a new ad, titled “Enrich,” which keys in on multimillionaire former hedge fund executive Nella Domenici’s record of prioritizing her personal wealth over the interests of American workers. The ad focuses on Domenici’s tenure as Chief Financial Officer of Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund, and as a member of the Board of Directors of Cognizant Technologies, a leading outsourcing firm.

“While Martin Heinrich has fought to lower costs and support good-paying jobs here in New Mexico, Nella Domenici was profiting off companies that outsourced American jobs and lined her pockets with investments in foreign adversaries,” said Brad Elkins, campaign manager. “Nella Domenici is wrong for New Mexico, we can’t afford to let her sell out our state the way she’s sold out American workers.”

During the 50 years Nella Domenici spent away from New Mexico, she served as Chief Financial Officer and a strategic advisor of Bridgewater Associates, while the firm invested in Chinese companies and expanded its deep ties with the Chinese Communist Party. Domenici also served on the Board of Directors of Cognizant Technologies, which specializes in helping companies cut costs by outsourcing labor to overseas employees and underpaid contractors.
